About me

As you consider finding a therapist online, it's crucial to find someone who understands your unique story and makes you feel comfortable. I create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your concerns and difficult experiences with ease. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, loneliness, or anger, tackling these issues alone can be overwhelming and even frightening. With therapy, you can start to rebuild that sense of connection with yourself.

I practice an integrative approach, which means I tailor my therapeutic style to fit your needs and presenting issues. I may use CBT to help you identify patterns in your thoughts and behaviours, or draw from a psychodynamic approach and facilitate exploration into how past experiences affect your present relationships and attachments. We'll work together to ensure that you get the most out of your sessions.

I view therapy as a collaborative process in which you are an active participant in your own healing and growth. I believe that creating a safe space where you can be open and honest helps you explore and conquer the issues that you feel are holding you back.

My ultimate goal is to help you feel more at ease with yourself, gain autonomy, and find greater peace with your past and present experiences.

My first session

If you're interested in working with me, I offer a free 10-15 minute phone consultation where we can discuss your goals and expectations for therapy. If you feel that I may be the right fit for you, we can explore your experiences further in our initial session and begin building the foundation for your therapeutic aims.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a registered member of the BACP body. I completed my qualification in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at UEL.

I have experience working both privately and within the NHS. I work with anxiety (panic attacks, health, generalised), OCD, depression, chronic fatigue, bereavement, childhood trauma, domestic violence, relationships issues, eating disorders, work issues, life goals, trauma.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
