About me

As you consider finding a therapist online, it's important to find someone who understands your unique circumstances and helps you feel comfortable. I create a warm, non-judgmental space where individuals and couples can openly explore their concerns and difficult experiences. Whether you're facing personal challenges, relationship difficulties, or a significant life transition, these experiences can often feel overwhelming, isolating, or difficult to make sense of alone. Therapy can provide a space to better understand these experiences and begin moving towards meaningful change.

As an integrative psychotherapist, I work with both individuals and couples, helping people better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that shape their lives. Depending on what feels most helpful, I may draw on CBT to identify unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour, alongside psychodynamic approaches that explore how earlier experiences continue to influence your emotions, relationships and sense of self. Together, we'll work in a way that best supports your therapeutic goals.

Couples may come to therapy during significant life transitions, such as marriage, becoming parents or moving in together, or because they find themselves caught in recurring patterns that leave them feeling disconnected from one another. Together, we explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, creating space for each partner to feel heard, better understand themselves and one another, and develop new ways of relating.

I view therapy as a collaborative process in which you are an active participant in your own healing and growth. Together, we will work at a pace that feels right for you, creating a safe space where you can be open and honest as we explore the difficulties that may be holding you back.

My aim is to help you feel more at ease with yourself, develop greater autonomy, strengthen your relationships, and find greater peace with your past and present experiences.

My first session

If you're interested in working with me, I offer a free 10-15 minute phone consultation to discuss your goals and expectations for therapy. If you feel that I may be the right fit for you, we can explore your experiences further in our initial session and begin building the foundation for your therapeutic aims.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a registered member of the BACP and hold a Master's degree with Distinction in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of East London.

My Master's research explored therapeutic processes that support recovery following narcissistic abuse, deepening my understanding of trauma, attachment, boundaries and relational dynamics.

I have experience working both privately and within the NHS. I work with anxiety (including panic attacks, health anxiety and generalised anxiety), OCD, depression, chronic illness, grief, childhood trauma, domestic abuse, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, work-related issues, life transitions and trauma.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
