Donna Mitchell, M.A
I am a registered psychologist, working with adult individuals and couples.
What makes therapy with me special?
I’m an advocate for change when it’s necessary. I believe that no pattern is too fixed, and that you don’t have to continue living a life that doesn’t support your happiness.
I am devoted to your process of healing, and don’t apply a ‘one-size-fits all’ approach. Rather I want to get on the same page as you and be with you there. I use an eclectic approach to therapy relying predominantly on my training in Narrative Therapy; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. This means that I will use the therapeutic approach that I feel will best assist each client.
I expertly build on the good in your life or your relationship. I’ll be here to laugh with you and to share in your joys and victories, and I’ll be here to stay with you as you go through the rough times. I’ll be in your corner, routing for you/your relationship and helping you to find meaning and transformation.
I know how important it is for a client and a therapist to fit well together and I know that it's difficult to get to a complete sense of a person from a few paragraphs of writing. This is why I have made several videos on my website which will give you a better feel for who I am and how I think. Go to https://talkfeelchange.com/vlogs/
