About me
I support people who may be sad, stressed, anxious, angry, scared or just a little lost and confused with life, be this due to current situations or past traumas.
People come to counselling for many different reasons and find their own unique path in life as a result. I feel blessed and privileged to provide a calm and safe environment to help people find their true selves.
I work from home and am blessed with calm and beautiful surroundings. Disabled access is limited
How I work
I use a range of approaches and techniques to enable us to explore and understand any issues, in a way that suits you. During the initial consultation we will have the chance to talk about what brings you to counselling and, if you're happy to, we can arrange future sessions. I see clients both short term and longer term, depending on individual circumstances and needs. It is usual and beneficial to arrange these sessions weekly, at the same time every week.

Training, qualifications & experience
Training & Qualificatins
My professional training was obtained through the National Counselling Society (and National Hypnotherapy Society).
I have also undertaken additional training in relation to trauma, stress and anxiety. I have a passion for personal development and continue to attend additional courses to gain further experience, in addition to the experience naturally gained from working with clients

In addition to my private practice I volunteer and see clients at 2 charities, one supporting clients with a range of concerns and the other specific to pregnancy and birth related issues.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Initial consultation £30
£55 per session payable at the session in cash or cheque, or direct to bank account prior to session
As it not unusual for clients to initially arrange 6 sessions, I offer these for a reduced sum of £300
