About me
What I can offer
Sometimes making sense of your emotions and internal thought processes can be overwhelming and unfortunately starts to impact the way in which we cope with everyday life. I offer an empathic and caring approach within a confidential and non-judgemental space.
Each person is unique and is affected differently by their experience. My practice offers Person Centred Therapy which will put your experiences at the heart of your therapeutic process. Sessions will be led by you, as we explore your emotions and experiences together, at your pace, to help gain an understanding of your internal thought processes and how you can make the changes you’d like to see in your life.
Background
I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and I am a member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) adhering to their Ethical Framework.
Over the past two years, I have been providing counselling within charity settings, working with a range of clients from diverse backgrounds, presenting with an array of challenges inclusive of anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, domestic abuse, relationship issues and low self-esteem.
Where I work
I work with adults offering in person appointments in Leamington Spa and Kenilworth. Or if you would prefer to be in the comfort of your own home or if accessibility is a barrier, I’m able to offer online or telephone appointments.
You may not know what’s making you feel the way you do or you may be unsure of the best approach to take, but reaching out for help is a positive step. Mental health is as important as your physical health, and investing in yourself can be life changing.
See if I'm the right fit for you
I offer a free 15 minute telephone or Zoom consultation to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, to ask any questions and of course to see if I’m the right therapist for you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
