About me

Hi! My name is Claudia (she/her).  I'm a counsellor, therapist, mother, wife, daughter, dog lover, friend among many other roles!

The challenges of having all these roles made me reflect on the importance of taking care of our mental health which led to my training in Gestalt Therapy.

My profession is my passion and I feel privileged to help transform lives for the better. Many times, the way we deal with our problems and needs ends up keeping us stuck, generating more and more suffering like anxiety, depression and stress. Together we will explore your relational patterns and how to work them to make you feel more connected with the world around you.

I will offer you a personalised approach as I believe that each person is unique, and so their needs. I can use a roll of different techniques as CBT, creative work and talk therapies. My main aim is to provide you a safe space, in a non-judgmental environment where you can truly connect with yourself.

I offer a free online 30 minutes consultation so we can understand better if I am the right counsellor for you. Feel free to send me a message (text or WhatsApp) or email me to book.

BACP

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
