About me
How can we get a better understanding of ourselves in this current climate?m
We all have the inner tools and resources to deal with a lot of our problems but using them in way that supports us is a harder thing to do. I think that the most difficult part of therapy (after taking the initial step call) is trusting the therapist and the process. I have been a practising therapist for over 15yrs. Regardless of whatever issues you bring my aim is to have you leaving with greater knowledge and insight into how to self manage the issues you bring.
I am integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist & intercultural therapist. I have years of experience working therapeutically in GP surgeries , schools and (currently) EAP’s (Employment assisted programs).
One therapeutic style doesn’t always fit all. I combined many different types of therapeutic styles to suit your individual needs.
Clients come with a range of issues sometimes a clear idea of what they want to work through other times least clear. At times what client want support with may not be what they really want to work on.
Working as an EAP therapist there really isn’t a one style that fits all. I tailor my work and blend therapeutic styles tools, techniques to explore problems expressed.
I provide a friendly warm safe space for the conversations you want to have.
In our time together I facilitate you to express your thoughts and feelings, supporting your wellbeing in a mindful way which at times can be challenging).
Getting Started
The first step you can take is to send me an email or telephone (details below) to arrange an initial contact for a brief phone call or 35 mins assessment session (£35) telephone call.
This would be a time where you can talk about what problems you would like to explore and ask any questions about what you might expect from sessions. The assessment session also gives you a chance to voice any concerns and see if the style of therapy will suit your needs. If you feel happy to continue we can then arrange to book more session in.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
