About me
I work from a Person-Centred background, my role as a counsellor is to help guide you through your process without judgements. Counselling is about bringing everything about you to sessions, whether that is needing to sit and cry or needing let your anger out. Having a time and place to explore and feel these emotions can help you to grow, by being seen, heard and accepted for who you are.
Who am I?
My pronouns are she/they. I work within the core concepts of person centred. I create a safe and non-judgemental space to begin building the relationship. Through this relationship we can filter things down to look deeper at them. Helping you to look at your life differently and learn more about yourself.
I have worked with a wide range of people and what they bring to the sessions. I welcome everyone from every background. I have no expectations for what we talk about in sessions.
I have worked with clients from Macmillan, helping them to come to terms with their recent diagnosis, helping them to process their news and how life will be now.
I have worked with people from the LGBTQIA+ community.
People who are neuro diverse.
I have experience working with survivors of sexual abuse and have volunteered with Rape Crisis.
I have full checks with both the DBS (England, Wales and NI) and PVG (Scotland) for working with both adults and children.

I have a level 2 certificate in working with Autism and ADHD - 2022.
I am currently studying defining gender, sex and relationship diversity with Pink Therapy.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Who I work with
I can work with children aged 10 in either primary 6 (Scotland) or year 5 (England, Wales and NI). Exceptions can be made to see children under 10 years old, will need a phone call to talk about what is going on in detail.
All adults, no upper age limit
How things work
You can contact me via text, WhatsApp or email and we will book in a free assessment over either a phone call, WhatsApp video call or a google meet. This is a time for us to get to know one another and find out if we can work together. This is a time for both you and I to see if it would work for both of us.
If we agree the fit is right then we can book in the first session, sessions are 50 minutes long and are done either by phone call, WhatsApp video call or a google meet.
