About me
Hello, I'm Carole. I am a HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist based in Newton Mearns near Glasgow. I have experience of providing psychological support to adults within NHS adult mental health services, primary care, third sector organisations and my private practice.
I draw on a range of evidence-based psychological interventions to offer a customised approach to each client. We will begin by understanding the challenges you are facing just now and how they may be connected to your life experiences. We will work together to put a plan in place to help you move forward towards a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
I am passionate about helping people to live a better life. That may require learning to set boundaries, working through a life transition or supporting you to change a pattern of behaviour or thinking that is keeping you feeling stuck.
I offer sessions remotely via Zoom or in person at The Golf Academy in Newton Mearns which has ample parking and easy access to the M77. I have current face to face availability for Monday and Tuesday evenings and Wednesdays during the day. Sessions can be scheduled at a time convenient for you.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
