About me
Hello, I'm Camilla and thank you for stopping by.
I work on the premise that we all need to be heard. Collaboration and curiosity are the cornerstones of my practice. I am interested in learning about you and what approach works best for you.
Life is not linear but a series of twists and turns, highs and dips all of which are sometimes hard to navigate on our own. This is where counselling can offer us the support and motivation that we may be seeking. So, in unison, what I hope to offer is a safe, non-judgemental space which facilitates talking, expressing, moving and being creative as channels to your journey of self-discovery.
Through my own life experiences, and working over the years in a number of roles in a range of settings, I have a deep understanding and empathy for those going through trials of their own but I also have huge trust, respect and optimism in the human spirit, what it is to be human and to find our way in the world.
Working in an integrative manner, I do so with a humanistic and psychodynamic approach. I see a person as an embodied whole: mind and body. If you are interested in somatic therapy, bodywork and anything with a holistic feel then this is something I would like to explore with you. If moving is something which feels more comfortable than sitting, I can recommend and offer walking sessions outdoors. The free-flowing aspect of these one-to-one's in nature may suit you.
Whoever you are and whatever brings you here, I offer you a warm welcome and a metaphorical container in which to bring and share your experience. Amongst other areas, I am kink aware/friendly including BDSM, knowledgeable of the scene and engaged with the community, inclusive of LGBTQ.
If you are a trainee counsellor, I offer a concessionary rate.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
