Many people who approach therapy may find it tough to describe their difficulties – perhaps things just don’t feel right, maybe you feel lost or disengaged? Have you been struggling with anxiety, experiencing grief, loss of meaning in life, difficulties navigating two or more cultures, or experiencing/ed domestic abuse? Maybe you feel you have no-one to talk to?
I am a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist with experience in helping people to:
- Manage Anxiety & Stress
- Cope with Bereavement, Grief and Loss
- Navigate and make sense of conflicting Cultural Issues
- Increase Confidence and be kinder to themselves
- Heal from Trauma. Including Childhood Trauma and Domestic Abuse
Working together, I can help you to build an inner resilience and the tools you need to achieve a resolution and move forward.
During therapy, we'll work together to explore what's going on for you and develop understanding. Using tools and resources to help you to discover the answers for yourself.
How I Practice
I offer counselling and psychotherapy sessions as well as Personal Consultancy. Visit my website to learn more www.bewellconsultancy.com.
I have an integrative approach to therapy, meaning I draw on a range of approaches so we can work in the way that best suits you.
Whilst approaches and theory are important, I believe it's essential you feel comfortable with your therapist, and I place huge importance on building a safe, empathic and confidential environment for my clients. I also place importance on the unique cultural backgrounds of my clients.
I believe everyone has the right to happiness and fulfilment in all areas of their lives.
I offer long and short-term work and am currently available to work online, over the phone or in person. The therapy room is based in North London with easy access to public transport and free parking available nearby.
The First Session
Our initial session together will act as a consultation providing an opportunity for us each to introduce ourselves.
You will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns and explore what would best help you meet your goals.
There will be time to ask any questions you might have to decide whether you would like to work together. If we are both happy, we will contract to continue working together.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, and yet you have taken the first step by looking for a therapist. If you would like to learn more about how I could help you, please get in touch.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
