About me

You may be outwardly successful but feel trapped by expectations – whether from work, family, or cultural conditioning. Saying no feels impossible, and over-giving leaves you drained. You want freedom – to trust yourself, set boundaries without guilt, and finally prioritise your needs.

I’m a Psychotherapist and Coach helping high-achievers overcome people-pleasing, burnout, and self-doubt to build confidence, set boundaries, and live on their terms. You can read some client testimonials below...

Why I Do This Work

I know this struggle firsthand. As a recovered people-pleaser, I spent years overworking, battling burnout and anxiety while trying to meet endless expectations. Having worked in the corporate world, I understand the pressure to prove yourself, push through exhaustion, and sacrifice personal well-being.

Therapy and coaching helped me break free, trust myself, and reclaim my life. Now, I help other ambitious women do the same – letting go of guilt, setting boundaries, and stepping into confidence.

How I Can Help You

  • Overcoming people-pleasing, perfectionism, and self-doubt
  • Setting boundaries with confidence in work, relationships, and family
  • Healing from burnout, emotional exhaustion, and stress
  • Navigating cultural pressures and identity conflicts
  • Recovering from narcissistic abuse and toxic patterns
  • Processing trauma, loss, and emotional wounds
  • Building a healthier relationship with money and self-worth
  • Exploring spirituality as a tool for healing and self-discovery

How We Work Together

I integrate therapy, coaching, and somatic techniques to create deep, lasting change. I am also a fully-qualified yoga teacher. Expect a compassionate but firm approach – where you feel seen, supported, and gently challenged –  taking culture and intersectionality into account. I work in a bespoke way, tailoring therapy to your unique experiences as an individual.

I can help you to create boundaries that stick, release stress, and trust your voice. Together, we’ll break burnout cycles and redefine success on your terms.

Therapeutic Approaches Include:

  • Psychodynamic Therapy & Inner Child Work – Understanding past patterns
  • CBT – Shifting unhelpful thoughts
  • Transactional Analysis – Healing & understanding relational wounds
  • EFT (Tapping) – Clearing emotional blocks

Ways to Work With Me

  • Ongoing Weekly Therapy
  • Single-Session Therapy – Focused, solution-driven support

You don’t have to navigate this alone. If you’re ready to break free from people-pleasing, trust yourself, and step into a fulfilling life, let’s talk.

The first step is a 50-minute introductory consultation , where we’ll explore your concerns, goals, and whether we’re a good fit to work together.

“Belinda really helped me through a tough period of transition, and I will always be grateful for her support, guidance and kindness. With Belinda’s help, I feel like I’ve grown and evolved a lot as a person. She also shared excellent resources to further aid the tools she was sharing with me in sessions on how to deal with different situations. “Belinda has been absolutely incredible throughout my therapy journey and I honestly cannot thank her enough! From coming to my first session and struggling to open up, to now being a much more confident, self assured and fearless version of myself has been such a transformative journey. At times it is often hard to recognise myself and how far I have come! I now feel so equipped with all the tools I need to face whatever situation life throws at me – Thank you Belinda for everything you truly are amazing!”

“My sessions with Belinda have been truly pivotal in helping me navigate difficult times and gain a deeper understanding of myself. She is incredibly skilled at what she does, always ensuring that I feel heard while offering honest, thoughtful guidance. “Belinda was the right choice of therapist for me. I wanted to speak to someone who understood which stage of life I was in and also know the nuances of my cultural background. The work mostly centred around strategies to deal with negative self-talk and unresolved trauma that I had not addressed before. Seeking out Belinda’s help was one of the best decisions I have made for me.”

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
