About me
As an experienced MSc psychotherapist and clinical psychologist, I have worked with clients of many walks of life. My work tends to be focused on trauma and attachment, meaning that I delve deeply into the way various types of trauma have impacted the relationships you have with others and with yourself.
I like to think of my therapy practice as a safe, co-created space. A container for exploration, growth and change. A virtual or in person space you can return to on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on your needs.
I can help you with:
- relationship problems
- depression
- anxiety
- trauma
- eating disorders
- personality disorders (BPD)
I pay a lot of attention to the setting I practice in. My psychotherapy office includes complimentary teas, coffee, water and "recovery pods" you can spend some time in post-sessions (a cozy enclosed space with noise cancellation headphones and a notepad). I want you to feel supported not just through our work together, but also through the environment you will return to for our sessions.
Being bi-cultural and raised in an international environment, I strongly believe in adapting therapy approaches to an individual’s culture and/or religion. This is also a big research interest of mine! Our struggles, narratives and beliefs always rest against a cultural, societal or religious backdrop.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified psychotherapist (Master’s level), registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Moreover, I am a BPS-registered psychologist.
I have also undergone additional extensive training in Schema Therapy which aims to specifically help individuals with personality disorders.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
As well as a psychotherapist, I'm a poet and a spoken word artist. I believe a lot of healing can happen through creative expression and shining a light on the narratives that currently drive us. I run a community-interest company called Mind Over Matter Ldn through which I co-organise various poetry events and workshops.
