About me
Hello, I am Andrew, an accomplished and experienced therapeutic counsellor specializing in Person Centred Therapy. With a Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and over a decade of practice since 2011, I bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to my work.
In addition to academic training, I bring real-world experience gained through volunteering with a charity dedicated to victims of sexual abuse and violence. This invaluable work has enriched my understanding of trauma and resilience, further shaping my compassionate and empathetic approach.
Furthermore, my training has exposed me to a diverse range of clients, many of whom were navigating the complex terrain of bereavement and grief. This broadened perspective allows me to tailor my non-directive approach to meet the unique needs of individuals facing various challenges in life.
I am deeply passionate about creating a safe and supportive space for my clients, drawing upon my comprehensive training and diverse experiences. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace.
I am passionate about fostering a genuine connection with my clients, recognising their unique experiences and perspectives. Through active listening and empathy, I aim to empower individuals on their journey towards self-discovery and personal growth.
Whether you're navigating challenges, seeking self-understanding, or simply in need of a supportive space, I am here to accompany you on your therapeutic journey. Let's work together to explore, understand, and facilitate positive change in your life.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
