About me

I'm Zara, a dedicated and compassionate counsellor committed to providing a safe and welcoming space for your journey towards self-discovery and healing.

Taking the first step to seek counselling is an act of courage, and I admire your bravery in starting this journey.

Please note: I work predominantly online however I do have minimal availability for in-person sessions (located in Eccles, Salford). Please contact me to discuss this and we can arrange it if required.

About Me:

I believe in the power of genuine connection and a non-judgmental, person-centered approach to therapy.

My goal is to create a space where you can express yourself freely, without fear of judgment, and explore the depths of your thoughts and emotions at your own pace.

I am here to support you, offering empathy, understanding, and a listening ear.

In our sessions, you will find a welcoming and empathetic atmosphere where your experiences, challenges, and triumphs are respected. I strive to create a therapeutic alliance built on trust and collaboration, where you can feel empowered to navigate life's complexities.

Remember, you are not alone, and your courage in seeking support is the first step towards a brighter and more fulfilling future. I look forward to walking alongside you on this journey.

If you would like to commence counselling or discuss sessions, please send an enquiry.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
