About me

A warm welcome. I have extensive experience working with clients of diverse backgrounds, cultures, sexual orientations, identities, and abilities, addressing a wide range of emotional difficulties and needs in both individuals and relationships.

 My specialism lies in working with anxiety, trauma , identity and relationship issues - both with individuals and couples (any type of relationship/s) I am passionate about helping my clients find their own way of moving forward at a pace that suits them and I'm committed to tailoring the work around your needs to support you in facilitating real change.  

Life can be tough. Having been on both sides of the therapeutic relationship I believe in therapy. Whatever have brought you here, while it feels so hard now, I am confident that counselling  might also be one of the most positive steps you can take in moving forward and it can guide and support you navigate through these challenges.

It might seem like taking a big step into unknown… but just come as you are. I'm here to meet you wherever you are in your life journey in a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space to be real, approachable and to fit the work around you. I will be led by you, your choices and your needs.

I  offer counselling from the following facilities 

Castle Street, TN1 is in the heart of Tunbridge Wells and 5 min walk from the train station

 - on Tuesdays in the mornings, afternoons and evenings
 -on Fridays in the mornings. 

Tunbridge Wells TN2 is in a quiet area with free on street parking 

 - on Mondays in the mornings and afternoons

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
