About me

I am a counsellor with experience in helping people to:

  • Manage Anxiety & Stress
  • Increase belief in themselves
  • Process Trauma, including childhood trauma & domestic abuse
  •  Navigate and make sense of Midlife Transitions
  •  Improve their relationships, including family issues

Everyone experiences difficulties in life at one time or the other and in these times, the people in our lives may not always know how to help and we may feel disconnected from ourselves, others, and our lives. This can be a painful and isolating place to be. And we don’t have to go it alone.

No matter what your history or troubles are now, working together, I can help you increase resilience and equip you with the tools you need to lead a healthier, happier, more fulfilling life.

My approach is a warm, calming, empathetic, and interactive therapy. My goal is to work with you to establish the best support for your individual needs and therapy goals.

I work integratively drawing on elements of different counselling approaches to meet your unique individual needs.

I am also qualified in coaching as I am as interested in your future as I am in your past. As an integrative therapist, I can seamlessly integrate counselling and coaching to help you address current struggles and find ways to move forward. I can help you to take back control of your life and start setting meaningful, achievable goals.

How counselling can help

Counselling sessions with me can help provide you with an emotionally safe, confidential, and judgement-free space to explore your thoughts and feelings.

Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, stress, or trauma-related issues?

Are you experiencing a breakdown in your relationships?

Perhaps life event(s) have left you feeling lost, stuck, confused, or overwhelmed.

I offer you a safe space to unburden and feel heard to help bring about an understanding of the problem and support you to make the necessary changes to move forward. Whatever has brought you seeking counselling, I am here for you offering a collaborative and supportive space to heal from your distress. Together we can work on getting you to a better place emotionally and mentally.

I often work with issues in the following areas:

- Anxiety and panic

- Attachment, parenting, and family relationships

- Self-esteem and confidence

- Relationship counselling

- Depression and low mood

- Stress, overwhelm, and burnout

- Midlife crisis and life transitions

- Work, career, and fulfilment

Most people want to be happier, rise above current difficulties, and thrive in life. Whatever being happy and enjoying good well-being may look like for you I am here to offer you the support and space to explore what it is that has brought you to counselling, while at the same time working with you to discover the inner resource that will empower you to achieve improved wellbeing and meaningful growth.

What to expect in your first session

I offer an introductory 50-minute consultation (in-person or online) as a first session which will allow time for you to ask questions. The fee for this is £55 with sessions thereafter at £70.

During the consultation, I will listen to your concerns and ask questions to help me understand your situation better. We will explore where you are, and what you'd like to get out of working with me and decide whether indeed we feel we are a good fit to work together.

At the end of the first (consultation) session, further sessions can be booked if you decide whether you would like to work together.

My availability is flexible. Contact me for an initial consultation session.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Additional information

Initial Consultation

The first session with a client is a consultation session and lasts for 50 minutes and is charged at £55. This is to get to know more about you, and better understand what you’d like help with. It is also a time to explore how we can work together and if we are a good fit.

If we agree to continue working together with further sessions the fees are:

  • Counselling £70 (50 minutes)
  • Coaching (60 minutes of Individual coaching sessions). I offer a personalised coaching package (4-6 sessions or more) tailored to your unique aspirations and goals. To find out more specifically about coaching, please send me an email and I would be happy to block out time, free of charge, to have a conversation about your dreams and how I could help you with achieving that. It all begins with having a meaningful conversation. The cost is £100 per coaching session afterwards.

I ask for payment in advance of your session and the easiest way to do this is by direct bank transfer – details will be emailed to you to confirm a consultation.

I am currently available to work with clients both face-to-face in London and Nationwide online.
