About me

Hello and welcome

Do you battle with stress and self-criticism, as if you're caught in an endless cycle of not feeling 'good enough'? Perhaps you put on a brave face for those around you, but inside you feel lost, stuck, or like something’s missing. Maybe difficult memories from childhood pop up, but then a voice inside tells you, "it wasn’t that bad.”

Do any of these thoughts sound familiar?

  • I feel sad, useless, and trapped, and I struggle with change
  • I have intense, difficult feelings towards people that I can't explain
  • I feel alone, confused, and unsure of who I am or who I want to be

These feelings often stem from unresolved past experiences where we’ve been hurt, and therapy can help you explore them in a safe, judgment-free, and supportive environment. Once we start understanding the links between our past and present struggles, we can begin to understand ourselves more deeply and start creating change.

Therapy can help you create meaningful change by:

  • Identifying unhelpful thought patterns and their roots so that you can build healthier, more empowering beliefs about yourself
  • Learning to express your needs and emotions openly so that you can create stronger, more fulfilling relationships with others and yourself
  • Building awareness of your feelings and actions so that you can better understand yourself, feel more secure, and embrace the future with confidence

Why Work with Me?

With a background in mental health and disability support, I’ve worked with individuals, families, and young people through times of change and challenge. Additionally, my 15 years working in high-pressure creative industries have given me a firsthand understanding of how perfectionism, burnout, and power dynamics affect well-being. I also have personal experience supporting disabled and neurodivergent people.

I started my private practice because I wanted to offer more personalised support to adults who are ready to heal and move forward from difficult experiences. I’m passionate about helping people process childhood challenges, always with care, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey. More specifically, I have extensive experience supporting both ADHD and Autistic adults in this area as well. I aim to offer a neuro-affirming space that feels inclusive and tailored to your needs.

I understand how daunting it can feel to take that first step toward therapy, but I’m here to support you in breaking the cycle together and creating lasting change.

If you think we might be a good fit, please reach out for a free introductory call. I’d be delighted to hear from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified psychodynamically-informed Arts Therapist (Music Therapy MA), with influences from humanistic therapy, compassion-focused therapy, person-centred therapy and transactional analysis. Drawing on my training and experience, I practise with an integrative, creative and holistic approach as a Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor.

I am a thoughtful, attuned and committed practitioner with a wealth of experience in various settings. Beyond my private practice, my work has included supporting adults and children in NHS and private mental healthcare services, educational settings, and neurorehabilitation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
