About me

I’ve always been deeply interested in people and what makes them tick. It was this curiosity about human experience, relationships, and personal growth that first drew me to train to be a psychotherapist nearly ten years ago.

I see being a therapist as an immense privilege where I'm able to walk alongside my clients as they come to understand themselves more fully. Through my long, intensive, and broad based training and working with patients and clients, from a wide range of backgrounds and circumstances, this equips me to help you explore what brings you into therapy and beyond.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and empathetic. I don’t see therapy as telling you where to go or what to do, but as working together to help you navigate what feels right and meaningful for you. I aim to create a supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, relationships, and experiences at your own pace, while feeling genuinely heard and understood.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am accredited by the UKCP (MUKCP) and a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP) and work in accordance with their ethical framework.

In accordance with best practice, I attend regular supervision to support reflective and ethical practice.

I am a qualified transpersonal integrative psychotherapist working with adults from all walks of life facing a wide range of issues.

I run weekend workshops and training for therapists as well as curate and speak at events on men's mental health and balanced masculinity and exploring relationships with inner archetypal father figures.

I adhere to the UKCP and BACP code of ethics and engage in regular continuing professional development

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information

Starting therapy can feel daunting and finding a therapist you feel comfortable with is an important first step. To support this, I offer a free 15-minute call where we can briefly discuss what is bringing you to therapy and see whether working together feels like a good fit.

If you decide to continue, we can arrange an initial consultation, where I can learn more about your background and the concerns you would like to explore.

If we agree to work together, we will schedule a regular weekly session held on the same day and time each week. Sessions last 50 minutes. Regular attendance is important, as consistency helps therapy to be most effective.
