Rachael Walker - MBACP Dip.Couns
Hi, I’m Rachael.
I’m a warm, approachable and down to earth counsellor and I am here to support you on your therapeutic journey and make sure you feel heard and understood. I can offer you a safe and secure place, where you will be able to talk about your thoughts and feelings in confidence.
I know that the thought of having counselling can be a daunting one, so I will do my best to help you to feel comfortable and relaxed. All my clients and their issues are extremely important to me, so there is no such thing as a client or an issue being ‘unimportant,’ or a problem being too ‘minor’.
The sessions are about you and whatever you feel you want to bring with you. I will work at your speed and give you the time you need to understand your feelings better.
Counselling can help you to connect to your real thoughts and feelings and alter your outlook on life. A new view of life could help you to accept yourself, make the right decisions for you, challenge negative beliefs and find a way to move forward. Counselling could also help you get back the feeling that you are in control of your life, or maybe help you to experience the feeling of being in control of your life for the very first time...
I look forward to hearing from you.

Therefore, if you are interested in working creatively and it's is something you would like to try during our sessions together, I can encourage you to express your feelings in creative ways, such as through drawing or painting.
