About me
Hi, I'm Phoebe, and there are many reasons that you might want to come and have counselling sessions with me. This could be something like stress due to work or ill health, you might be experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, identity issues, racial/cultural issues, addictions, trauma due to various reasons and many more.
You may feel that it's time for you to talk to someone about whatever it is, whether to vent, process it, or try to find a solution. Whatever you are struggling with and whatever you want to get out of the therapeutic relationship, I am here to help.
I am a specialist in person-centred and positive psychotherapy techniques and therefore, I provide a warm and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings as I listen and let you lead the sessions. However, I can offer more guidance if needed, along with positive psychology exercises to cultivate resilience and positive emotions.
I work collaboratively with each individual to tailor the therapeutic space to their specific needs and I am happy to adapt my approach to make it a comfortable and helpful experience. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, I promise I'm not scary!
