About me

Maybe something has happened – such as the death of a loved one, or some other event or loss.

Perhaps the current Coronavirus pandemic and the effect it is having on all of our lives is hard for you to cope with right now?

You might be at home on your own, feeling isolated, anxious and alone?

Or at home with others and you’re getting on each other’s nerves?

Or maybe you’re one of the people on the front line (in the NHS, food provision, police force or another essential service) keeping things going for the rest of us?

Coaching and counselling both provide a safe space for you to explore issues, thoughts and feelings that you may be finding it hard to talk about with other people – or, perhaps, admit to yourself.

We will work to your agenda and use our combined life experience and, occasionally, some theoretical models to examine what you think, feel and do, how you interact with others and what it is that want to change.

Face-to-face sessions are currently suspended due to Covid-19 restrictions but I also work online - via video, phone or VoIP, live chat and email.

I also provide online coaching and/or counselling supervision - individually and in groups.

**SPACES AVAILABLE IN MY MONTHLY ONLINE SUPERVISION GROUP FOR PRACTITIONERS WORKING WITH CLIENTS ONLINE**

I am setting up some monthly online supervision groups to support professionals such as yourself during this difficult time.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
