About me

Life can be challenging, unpredictable and difficult. We can find ourselves struggling in crisis or feeling stuck for many reasons. We may have unhelpful patterns of thought or ways of viewing the world which weigh us down. When this is so, it is often helpful to engage in a supportive, non-judgemental therapeutic relationship in a safe, confidential environment to take a look at what is causing our difficulties.

I work in partnership with clients who are dealing with a range of life issues which we explore with curiosity, creativity and compassion.

I take an holistic approach – that all elements of our lives – mind, body, feelings and spirit – play a part in our life experience. I integrate a range of psychotherapeutic approaches to find the one that works best for my clients.

The innate drive which every human has to grow and increase their capacity may not feel very present for you at the moment, but it lies behind your courageous first step towards finding a solution to your difficulties. We will explore and expand that together.

Training, qualifications & experience

Before completing my MSc in Psychotherapy I worked for many years in a highly pressurized corporate environment as well as in early years and adult education. I have lived in several different countries around the world, which has given me an insight into the challenges of the intersection of different cultures and backgrounds.  I have many years of experience working with clients through Cotswold Counselling and Wiltshire Mind.

I offer online or telephone counselling anywhere in the UK and work face-to-face in Cirencester.

We usually start with a free 15 minute online consultation, during which we can decide if we want to work together.
