About me

I am a UKCP registered Integrative Psychotherapist offering both online and in-person counselling and psychotherapy. I have several years experience working within the NHS and for a not-for-profit organisation.

My private practice is located in Wimbledon, Greater London as well as Weybridge and  Esher, Surrey.

When life is stressful and we find ourselves in pain, therapy can be a safe way to explore what is happening. For me therapy is not about an expert offering solutions but rather about working collaboratively to help you understand yourself more clearly and fully.

My training as an integrative therapist means that I have expertise in several theories and approaches and this allows me to tailor my responses to your needs.

Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process and I offer a short initial consultation free of charge.

Training, qualifications & experience

I completed my five years Master’s Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute.

I am a Registered Member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) a leading professional body for psychotherapy in the UK.

I have several years experience working within NHS Primary Care where I worked with a range of patients referred to our service by GPs in Surbiton.

I have worked with a local low-cost charity where long term work afforded people the time and space to explore themselves and their problems in more depth.

I abide by the UKCP and Metanoia Code of Ethics.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

As an integrative psychotherapist I am able to utilise a range of different theories and approaches to my work, tailoring my responses to your individual needs.

Therapy offers a space to explore what is causing you pain and difficulty within a safe, non-judgemental environment. I believe in working together, with you, to listen to your story and to explore your history and relationships, your culture and unique experiences. Working collaboratively we will work to illuminate patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour that might be impacting you in the present.

I believe that the capacity for change lies within the therapeutic relationship.
