About me

As a down to earth experienced Integrative counsellor working for over a decade I am able to bring together different elements of therapy, enabling me to support my clients with whatever they maybe dealing with in their life. Working at their own pace, keeping their agenda. Supporting them, empowering them to work towards finding the answers within.

I am able to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space which enables you to begin where you feel comfortable.

I have found over the years that the relationship between therapist and client built on trust, empathy and honesty is paramount which in turn has a transformative effect for both. As the relationship is unique.

I have an understanding with working alongside people going through the complexities of bereavement and loss in all its forms including pet bereavement.

I will work at a pace that feels comfortable and safe.

I now offer walk and talk therapy if this is something you feel maybe more beneficial to your wellbeing. Please email me for more information.

Individuals from 18 years onwards.

Short or long term counselling available.

When I receive your email I will offer a free 30 minute in person session or 30 minutes on line. From there if you feel we can work together I can offer you a day and time that’s best for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
