About me

Hi, I’m Nabil, a qualified counsellor passionate about helping people navigate life's ups and downs. I believe that everyone deserves a safe, non-judgmental space to explore their thoughts and emotions. My approach is compassionate and down-to-earth, focusing on your unique needs. Together, we’ll work to understand your experiences and find ways to move forward that feel right for you. I hold a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Counselling, and my work is grounded in person-centred therapy, though I integrate cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, and attachment theories depending on what works best for you. Whether you're facing trauma, grief, anxiety, or just feeling stuck, my goal is to help you find your path to healing and personal growth. With experience working with a diverse range of clients—from young adults to seniors—I’m dedicated to fostering trust and helping you discover the tools you need to lead a more fulfilling life. I’ve trained extensively in complex trauma and bereavement, which has given me a deep understanding of how to support clients through some of life’s most difficult moments. I look forward to working with you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

I offer a non-judgemental approach I believe that therapy should be a safe space for the client to share as we build rapport to develop trust. I aim to make therapy as warm and safe for you as much as possible. Our histories can get us stuck in patterns that prevent us from living a free fulfilled life. Or, a significant life event may be overwhelming and we need support talking and exploring through to process it. I primarily adopt Person-Centered therapy, integrating Cognitive Behavioural techniques, psychodynamic, and attachment principles. Together, we will explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviour, and patterns of relating to support you on your journey towards healing and personal growth.
