About me

I am a qualified integrative counsellor who offers in-person and online sessions.

I offer a safe and confidential space for all adults and young people (above 18 years old) to talk about their issues and concerns. Additionally, I will help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so you can develop a better understanding of yourself and others. By doing this, we will work together in order to help find your own solutions so that you may feel more whole and live life more fully.

Given that counselling can sometimes seem overwhelming at first, I want to reassure you that I will do my utmost to ensure your comfort and support throughout your counselling experience.

In order to learn more about you and your availability, I provide a free 15 minute telephone chat. After this, we will arrange an assessment appointment either in-person, or online. Assessments tend to last up to 50 minutes. The purpose of the initial session will be to learn more about what you are going through, why you are seeking help, and what you want to gain from therapy.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
