About me
I am based near Bath in Wiltshire and I offer Counselling and Psychotherapy.
We all have times in our lives when we feel a bit stuck and we may not even know why. Some difficulties may stem from childhood while others may come from a change in our circumstances. Having a safe place to explore your situation can bring deeper understanding of what is happening the opportunity to find your way through and move forward.
There are many different types of Therapy; Person Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic – to name but a few. My approach is an integrative one with its basis around transactional analysis, person-centered, psychodynamic and the spiritual.
Generally the agreement is to meet weekly at the same time and sessions are for one hour.
People seek Counselling and Psychotherapy for a variety of reasons including the following:
Ending up in the same place and not understanding why (repeated patterns), stress and anxiety, relationship difficulties, bereavement and loss, self-defeating behaviors.

I am DBS checked.
In the past I have worked as a volunteer counsellor with Help! Counselling for 9 to 25 year olds and with Wiltshire MIND.
I have also worked as a Volunteer with Turing Point (Wiltshire Substance Misuse Service) in a Meet and Greet Capacity and at Dorothy House in the in-patient unit.
