About me

As a psychotherapist, my main aim is to truly understand your needs and concerns. Before offering any advice or suggestions, I prioritize actively listening to you. This approach helps me grasp the unique intricacies of your situation, enabling me to tailor my methods accordingly.

In my practice, I specialize in working with diverse groups, addressing their specific needs. I employ various therapeutic techniques, including existentialism and humanistic frameworks, to customize the best approach for you. By merging theory with practice, I strive to provide effective, personalized treatment.

One of my primary methods is person-centered therapy, creating a safe, supportive space for clients to explore thoughts and feelings. Additionally, I integrate cognitive-behavioral therapy, targeting problematic thoughts and behaviors to foster healthier alternatives.

Overall, my goal is to cultivate a compassionate environment where you can address your challenges. I believe collaborative efforts can drive positive change and help you achieve your goals. I promise non-judgmental active listening, guidance, and resource provision.

Through our work together, I aim to enhance your self-awareness and relationships. I prioritize establishing a safe, open environment. This, I believe, is fundamental to facilitating meaningful, enduring changes. Let's work together towards a life filled with more joy, security, and comfort. I'm here to empower you on this journey.

A bit about my practice:

I run my psychotherapy practice, specializing in multicultural groups' needs. Utilizing techniques from existentialism to humanistic frameworks, I offer tailored therapy. I integrate person-centered and cognitive-behavioral therapies, along with experience in family therapy.

My practice undergoes regular supervision and professional development through additional courses, CPDs, and hands-on work. My insights come from daily experiences working with families and individuals.

Regarding my practice's modality, I primarily employ humanistic and existential approaches, steering clear of psychoanalysis or hypnosis due to my limited expertise.

A member of the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP), I bring years of experience from the mental health sector, aiding individuals in achieving their goals. I aim to make therapy fruitful while recognizing your integral role in this process.

I refrain from using clinical labels, seeing you as an individual needing help, not defined by words or diagnoses. Many who've attended therapy with me have returned to normalcy without clinical labels.

Though acknowledging serious clinical conditions, my focus remains on the person first, working together to navigate the challenges.
