About me
I will endeavour to encourage and empower you through a variety of techniques suited to you, building your confidence and courage to like and be yourself.
I provide a safe space to explore, identify and work through issues and experiences.
I am a qualified integrative counsellor and supervisor. I have a Person-centred foundation to my work, using tools tailored to your immediate and deeper needs, expectations and therapeutic direction.
Person-centred means you, the client, are the expert on yourself. I am there to be empathetic, accepting and challenging, reflecting with you on your process. I aspire to assist you on your journey of self awareness and discovery.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have ten years experience of supporting and counselling people, particularly those who have experienced abuse, damage from addictions and relationship issues. Working privately and with a problem gambling agency in the past. I am a fully qualified Counsellor and Counselling Supervisor.
My qualifications are:
- BA Counselling Studies
- Foundation Degree in Person-Centred Counselling and Therapy
- CPCAB Level Four Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
Member organisations
The Association of Christian Counsellors and Linked Professions is a professional body representing and setting standards for Christian counselling and care in the UK. The organisation is made up of various different membership categories, including Counsellor and Accredited, and requires all members working as counsellors to undertake Continuous Professional Development on a regular basis.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

- One to One Supervision Session £45.00
- Group Supervision per hour £55.00
A counselling session lasts fifty minutes and may involve any thoughts you want to bring and explore at your pace.
Payment type; cash or bank transfer, before or at the beginning of each session.
One to one supervision sessions are one hour. See the supervision page on my website for more details.
Group Supervision is based on two to six people sharing the session and cost.
