About me
You may be considering therapy if you have a particular issue you want to work through or you wish to learn more about yourself. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just not feeling yourself; you may be going through big life changes, lacking confidence or wanting to learn how to set boundaries. Therapy can help to develop meaningful strategies, self understanding and insight so you can move forward. I can offer you a safe and supportive space to talk and find ways to heal and move forward in your life. I provide both therapy and coaching for adults either online or in my dedicated room. I also have several years experience providing therapy to trainee counsellors and psychotherapists.
I am passionate about helping my clients to live life with confidence and authenticity. I believe in creating a compassionate, honest and hopeful space for you to work toward your goals or explore your difficulties and I will be there alongside you on this journey. I look forward to speaking with you and we can make a plan to work together tailored to your needs.

I have been in practice as a therapist since 2016 and work both privately and in the NHS with long term and short term clients. I also have several years experience providing therapy to trainee counsellors and psychotherapists.
Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information
After spending over 15 years working in the private sector with digital and creative agencies I chose to develop my passion for supporting others to live more fully and retrain as a psychotherapist. I’ve been growing my therapy and coaching practice with private clients and the NHS since 2016 and now work in a beautiful dedicated room in the Ouseburn in Newcastle upon Tyne.
