About me
Perhaps you're dealing with anxiety or trauma, you may be struggling with relationships or your career, finding unhelpful behaviours or thoughts are getting in the way or simply want someone to hear you. These are areas where I can provide particular support. I specialise in helping clients discover and embrace their authentic selves.
I utilise a relational approach, which prioritises building a strong therapist-client connection as the foundation for your growth. I believe in every client's potential, and I'm here to offer a supportive and open space for you to work through the issues you bring.
As an accredited psychotherapist I offer in depth and short term work. I am also EMCC accredited Senior Coach Practitioner. I offer a tailored approach for each individual client and within this framework I draw upon many approaches including my core model of Transactional Analysis. I am skilled at working creatively with clients using a variety of techniques such as sandtray, guided imagery and body work.
I offer a free 15 minute chat so you can ask me any questions and get a feel for who I am and what therapy or therapeutic coaching is like. If you would like to work with me you can call or email to book an initial session. I hope to make this process a positive experience for you.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
After spending over 15 years working in the private sector with digital and creative agencies I chose to develop my passion for supporting others to live more fully and retrain as a psychotherapist. I’ve been growing my therapy and coaching practice with private clients and the NHS since 2016 and now work in a beautiful dedicated room in the Ouseburn in Newcastle upon Tyne.
