About me
I will trust you to use the sessions in a way that is helpful to you. I never judge anything that you may bring up. It is my hope that everyone who encounters me finds me to be warm, friendly and kind.
The sessions are a safe space where you can explore your experiences, thoughts, ideas and identity.
I always respond to enquiries in a timely manner. I work on weekdays between 9.30am and 2.30pm and limited availability in the evenings after 7.30pm.
I am an accredited member of the NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society).
I grew up in Australia and worked there as a youth worker. When I moved to the UK I decided I wanted to work as a psychotherapist. I graduated with a distinction in my Masters degree in counselling and psychotherapy practice at LJMU.
Lots of my clients are neurodivergent, and I have a special interest in working with people who have experienced Hyperemesis pregnancies, however I will work with people who might not fit into either of these categories.
I offer online, telephone and in person sessions.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have completed a Masters degree in counselling and psychotherapy through LJMU. I have lived experience of Hyperemesis Gravidarum (a pregnancy illness that I experienced in 2017) and have done extensive research on the effect of counselling during HG.
As well as a qualified counsellor/psychotherapist I am a Breastfeeding Network UK (BFN UK) qualified support worker.
I volunteer at The Brain Charity with a small caseload of clients who experience a range of neurodiversities.
