About me

As a Clinical Psychologist and I am passionate about supporting my clients to overcome difficult emotions in order to live a life in line with their dreams and values.

Do you experience anxiety? Do you repeatedly check that doors are closed or lights are switched off before you can leave the house? Do you strive for perfection but always feel not good enough? Are you feeling low and lacking in energy or motivation? These are a couple of examples of difficulties that I can help you with. I specialise in supporting children (aged 8+), teenagers and young adults with difficulties, including but not limited to:

  • anxiety
  • obsessive compulsive disorder
  • panic attacks
  • specific phobias
  • social anxiety
  • perfectionism
  • depression
  • low self-esteem.

I aim to create a relaxed, supportive and non-judgmental space for you to talk about your emotions and experiences. As everyone has their own likes and dislikes, sessions look like will be different for every person I support. For instance, I know it can feel daunting to talk to someone new, so I am happy to meet with you individually or you are welcome to bring a parent or carer into the sessions with you. If you don’t like the idea of just sitting and talking then do not worry, I have a number of board games that we can play while we talk. Jenga and Operation are current favourites of mine but you are more than welcome to bring any games, crafts and activities along with you for us to enjoy together! I am flexible, just let me know what feels most comfortable for you and we can work together to make this possible.

If you think that I could be the right person to support you then please email or call me to arrange a free 15 minute consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years professional experience. Most recently, I worked as a Senior Clinical Psychologist within a social enterprise where I supported adults with a wide range of psychological difficulties. Prior to this, I worked for over a decade as a Clinical Psychologist in NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

In my private work, I offer short and long term individual therapy. I also facilitate a variety of mental health training courses for NHS and Social Care teams across the country, which enables me to maintain my links with the NHS and keep on top of the latest evidence base.
