About me
Do you feel like no one listens to you? Feeling alone with your thoughts, feelings and experiences can contribute to feelings of isolation, depression and anxiety. I can offer you a warm, safe and confidential space where you will be heard. I offer face to face counselling in central Aylesbury, online via zoom or by telephone.
I am passionate about supporting and gently guiding my clients through the therapy process. Being an integrative counsellor means I draw upon different counselling theories during our sessions and tailor my approach to adapt and meet your needs and goals. I believe that everyone has the ability to develop and grow towards their goals. Sharing what’s going on for you and being heard can be life changing, my role as your counsellor is to support you and guide you through the process of healing and personal growth. Overcoming difficult thoughts and feelings can be challenging without the right support. We can work together to give you new insight into your self and your relationships. Together we can work on managing and accepting your feelings and work towards improving how you feel and your relationships with others.
Anxiety and depression can affect our everyday life. I can give you a warm and non-judgemental space to explore these feelings, together we can overcome them and move forward. We can safely explore negative thought patterns, becoming aware of them enables us to challenge them, making negative thoughts less consuming and relieving us of our anxieties and what is stopping us from moving forward in life.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Special Educational Needs (SEN) Parent Carers
I have personal experience of SEN parents and the stress and challenges SEN parents can face, not just within the educational system but also the healthcare system. Being a parent carer is a challenging role, one involving many appointments and different professionals. The wellbeing of the whole family falls on your shoulders. I can help with supporting you to improve your relationships and communication with professionals, managing stress and exploring your emotional needs. I can support you through the emotional process that comes from having a child or dependant with a life limiting diagnosis and sudden changes. Additionally, together we can work on self-care strategies to support you and meet your needs.
