About me
Life can feel overwhelming at times — whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, life changes, relationship struggles, or feeling stuck and disconnected. You might be questioning your worth, your direction, or how to cope with stress, loss, or loneliness. I understand that finding the right therapist is important, but it isn’t always easy — and the process itself can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re seeking help for the first time.
I offer a compassionate and supportive space where you can reflect on your concerns, explore your emotions, and consider the changes you’d like to make, all at your own pace. Together, we can work towards greater clarity, resilience, and a deeper connection with yourself and others.
My approach...
Is calm and welcoming, bringing my human side and sense of humour into sessions when appropriate. I enjoy getting to know my clients and creating an environment where you feel heard.
I know first hand how difficult it can be to share vulnerabilities, so I make sure to follow your pace and help you feel comfortable.
Together, we can...
- Identify the key areas you'd like to work on so we can focus on what is important to you.
- Gently explore past experiences and their impacts on your present life.
- Explore the effects of grief, loss, and significant life changes.
- Overcome negative self-views, feelings of not being good enough, and self-doubt.
- Work through the challenges faced in relationships and explore how these difficulties impact daily life.
- Develop effective coping strategies to manage overwhelming emotions.
Counselling offers you an opportunity to regain control and move towards a happier and balanced life.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
