About me

Do you feel you are at the point in your life where you feel you have lost who you are? Tired of playing a certain role? Maybe you are carrying a deep sense of grief but putting a smile on for everyone. Are you trying your hardest to manage home or work stresses and recognising it's becoming more difficult. Are you trying to manage feelings of anxiousness or depression?

I am an experienced person-centered counsellor. I would like to hear how life has been for you. My aim is to encourage and promote free flowing conversations, guided by your natural process, supporting you with understanding your thoughts and feelings to reach a more comfortable state of self, and feel you have been heard.

I am committed to creating a safe, therapeutic space to support exploration of your thoughts and life experiences without judgement. Our aim is to increase your self- awareness, improving your ability to use self direction to make desired changes in your life.

I have the ability to see different perspectives enabling me to meet you where you are and where you would like to go.

No matter how difficult life can be we all have the ability to grow with the right support around us.

It can be daunting looking for a counsellor. If this is your first time seeking counselling or your in search for a better fit for yourself. Here is an outline on how contacting me will go.

You can either contact me via email or telephone. Both I will aim to return your enquiry within 24 hours Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday.

Once we have made contact we can schedule a free 20 minute initial conversation for you to see if I am the right fit. Or have the conversation there and then. It is your choice.

On our phone call, I will ask the following,

  • What has brought you to counselling?
  • What are you looking for in a counsellor?
  • Have you experienced counselling before? if so what do you feel worked well for you and what did not?
  • How many sessions do you feel you require and how often? (This does not need to be a definitive answer)
  • I can then explain a bit more about how we could potentially work together and to also see if I feel I am the right support for you. I will refer someone else more suitable if this is the case.
  • The phone call will end with asking you how you feel after our conversation.
