About me

I offer a warm and non-judgmental space where people can make sense of challenges they are experiencing and safely create meaningful changes. My approach is holistic and centers people's strengths, values and unique personal experiences.  I provide collaborative therapy that is tailored to fit with people's specific hopes for the work.

I have over 15 years' experience supporting the emotional wellbeing of adults, families and children and currently work as a Lead Clinical Psychologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust. I frequently support people who are managing significant life transitions, living with health conditions and experiencing a range of difficulties including low mood, anxiety, grief, burnout and stress. I hold particular expertise in areas relating to complex trauma, women's health and maternal mental health. I work flexibly, integrating different evidence-based therapeutic models, such as Narrative Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Systemic Therapy, into my practice.

I currently offer therapy in person. I am happy to answer any questions you may have before booking an appointment.  I am also happy to provide a short consultation in which we can consider your current circumstances and whether the type of support I offer is right for you. If you are interested in finding out more, please do not hesitate to contact me. I normally respond to enquiries within one to two days so if you don’t receive a response within that time frame please check your spam folder.

Training, qualifications & experience

The wide range of training I have enables me to work in a flexible and creative way. I have undertaken psychoanalytically informed courses in which I learnt about child development and attachment  theories. My doctorate in Clinical Psychology allowed me to study and train in diverse therapeutic modalities, including: Compassion Focused, Systemic, Narrative and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.  I am committed to continuing my professional development and since qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist have attended further courses in Narrative and Systemic Therapy as well as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I am currently undertaking training in Embodied Psychotherapy.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
