About me

What I can help with

Hello and welcome. I’m a Clinical Psychologist and EMDR therapist offering compassionate therapy in Cheltenham and online.

I support people experiencing anxiety, trauma, stress and burnout, grief, low self-esteem and depression. Many people I work with arrive feeling overwhelmed, stuck, exhausted, struggling with confidence or finding it difficult to cope with past experiences. Whatever brings you here, my hope is we can work together to help you better understand what's happening and find a way forward that feels meaningful and positive.

I have a specific interest in working with people who identify as neurodivergent (including autistic and ADHD people) and those living with long-term health conditions.

I'm also interested in supporting people who are carrying the weight of wider world issues, such as feeling grief or distress about the environment, social issues, isolation or disconnection from nature.

What I offer

I'm trained in a range of therapies which I integrate. This includes EMDR, an effective approach for supporting people to process and move forward after they've experienced trauma or difficult life experiences. I have worked across the NHS, charities and completed doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology. I'm also a yoga and meditation teacher.

In therapy, we’ll use a blend of talking and practical strategies which will be tailored to you. We can explore your past and present experiences together and find ways to process things and move forward. The therapy I offer goes beyond talking alone and incorporates practical skills and strategies to use between sessions and support your mind and body.

I bring a down-to-earth and authentic style to therapy informed by a deep respect for how complex life can be. I understand it can be daunting coming to appointments, so I aim to offer a comfortable, relaxed, non-judgemental space where we can take things at a pace that suits you.

My practice is trauma-informed and I would be honoured to support you if you have been through difficult or distressing times.

Neurodivergence

If you are neurodivergent, whether you've received a formal diagnosis or self-identify, I will adapt therapy to suit your needs and preferences. Alongside my professional experience, I also have personal and family experience of ADHD and autism, which gives me an appreciation of both the challenges and strengths that can come with being neurodivergent. I aim to create a space where you don't have to mask and where you can be yourself.
