About me
I offer online psychotherapy for individuals and relationships. Please see my website for more detailed information and don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions.
Training, qualifications & experience
I was trained in Clinical Art Therapy at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. For over 20 years I worked in both public and private settings providing psychotherapy to children, families, and individuals. I worked extensively with adolescents and their families as well as people who’ve experienced developmental/complex trauma.
I am licensed to practice psychotherapy by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. I am currently a member of The British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT), The Heath and Care Professions Council (HCPC), as well at the Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice (AFT).
Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
