About me
Hello, I'm Irena, and I'm deeply passionate about psychotherapy and helping individuals like you overcome life's challenges. If you've ever felt like things aren't quite as they should be or as you'd like them to be, you're not alone. Sometimes, the reasons for seeking therapy may be unclear, but that's where I come in. My aim is to create a welcoming environment where you can explore and discover what truly matters to you.
What I Offer: Issues I frequently work with include anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, ADHD, relationship challenges, family dynamics, work-related difficulties (including emotional abuse), childhood trauma, and adjustment to significant life events or losses.
My Approach: I bring a unique and integrative approach to therapy, combining the warmth and acceptance of the person-centered approach with the analytical skills of psychodynamic theory. I also incorporate practical strategies from schema therapy and mindfulness. This allows me to adapt to your specific needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized therapeutic experience that works for you.
Your Journey with Me: Throughout our sessions, you'll find that I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space for you to explore your feelings and emotions. I understand that opening up can be challenging, but I'm here to support you every step of the way.
Specialization and Accessibility: I work with both adults and young adults, and I specialize in online therapy, making mental health support more accessible and convenient for those with busy schedules or mobility issues. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, abuse, anger management, low self-esteem, or relationship issues, I'm here to help you navigate these challenges.
If you're ready to take the first step toward positive change, please don't hesitate to reach out. Together, we can work towards the well-being and personal growth you deserve. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, stress, or any other mental health issue, I'm here to provide the support and guidance you need to thrive.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
