About me

Specialist in Anxiety, Trauma, ADHD & Low Self-Esteem – Online Therapy Across London & UK

Based in South West London & Kingston Upon Thames | Online sessions available UK-wide

About Me

You might look fine on the outside—but inside, it feels like you’re constantly holding things together. Maybe you’re anxious, burnt out, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break. Perhaps you grew up with a lot of responsibility, had to be the “strong one,” or never felt fully seen or accepted. Now it shows up as people-pleasing, low self-worth, anxiety, or relationship struggles that leave you feeling drained.

I’m Irena, an integrative psychotherapist, and I help people who are “doing fine” on the surface but feel lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected underneath. If you’re tired of carrying it all alone, therapy with me offers a space where you don’t have to perform or pretend. Just bring your full self—and we’ll work together to explore what’s going on beneath the surface and how you can begin to feel more like youagain.

What I Offer

I support adults and young adults navigating:

 • Anxiety, Stress & Panic Attacks – Helping you calm your nervous system and break free from cycles of fear and overthinking

 • ADHD & Emotional Regulation – Supporting executive function, overwhelm, shame, and identity challenges

 • Low Self-Esteem & Confidence – Letting go of perfectionism and self-criticism so you can feel more grounded in your worth

 • Childhood Trauma & Inner Child Healing – Reconnecting with wounded parts of yourself and building inner safety

 • Relationship & Family Issues – Breaking patterns of people-pleasing, avoidance, or attracting emotionally unavailable partners

 • LGBTQIA+ Identity & Transition Support – Offering an inclusive, affirming space for self-exploration and emotional processing

 • Depression & Burnout – Reclaiming energy, joy, and your sense of self

 • Feeling Stuck or Lost – When you’re not in crisis, but life just doesn’t feel like yours

Common Issues I Work With

Anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, low self-esteem, burnout, relationship problems, emotional overwhelm, identity questions, stress, perfectionism, loneliness, inner conflict, and childhood emotional neglect.

My Approach

I work integratively and adapt each session to your pace and needs. Some days we explore deep emotional roots; other times we’ll work with tools and strategies to help you cope in the here and now.

My training draws from:

 • Person-Centred Therapy – Deep, accepting presence

 • Psychodynamic Therapy – Understanding how early experiences shape current patterns

 • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – Challenging unhelpful thoughts and behaviours

 • Schema Therapy & Mindfulness – Building awareness and breaking cycles

 • Inner Child Work – Reclaiming the parts of you still seeking safety or love

Above all, you’ll find me warm, honest, and down-to-earth. I don’t do clinical. I show up as a human, not a blank slate.

Why Work With Me

Clients often tell me they feel safe to be themselves with me—even if they’ve struggled to open up in the past. I’ve worked with people from all walks of life, many of whom have spent years pushing through pain alone.

I especially support women, LGBTQIA+ clients, and high-functioning individuals who appear “okay” but are quietly carrying exhaustion, grief, or inner chaos.

My role isn’t to “fix” you—it’s to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and discover new ways of relating to the world.

Online Therapy

I work online, supporting clients across Central London, South West London, Surrey, and anywhere in the UK. All you need is a quiet space and a device. It’s flexible, confidential, and easy to fit around your life—whether you’re a parent, a professional, or navigating major life transitions.

Let’s Talk

I currently have a limited number of spaces available. If anything you’ve read here resonates, I’d love to hear from you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
