I support individuals and couples ( romantic, marriages, family, friendships, professional ) from diverse backgrounds to feel more understood, less conflicted, and more connected.
Emotional difficulties rarely exist in isolation. Anxiety can affect your relationships, while past and current experiences can shape how you respond to change and stress. These experiences may also affect your ability to recognise and break unhelpful patterns. At times, life changes can bring everything to the surface.
Together we explore your deeper emotions as well as develop practical strategies to help you move forward in healthier ways .
Some of the challenges clients contact me with and how I can help
- Anxiety, Depression, Overthinking :I help you understand your inner world, manage stress, feel grounded, less lonely and a sense of inner calm.
- Relationship difficulties: I support you to improve communication, trust, manage conflict, understand defences, break unhelpful cycles.
- Self-Esteem, Self-Confidence & people-pleasing : I guide you to set boundaries, quiet inner critics, and reconnect with yourself.
- Trauma - childhood & past patterns: I help you recognise triggers, make sense of your past, lessen impact of these triggers and begin to heal.
- Life transitions such as bereavement, loss, illness, breakups, redundancy, or major change by supporting you to process emotions, rebuild, and move forward.
- Cultural identity & intergenerational stress : I help you explore roots, sense of belonging, difference, and intergenerational expectations.
- LGBTQ+ support: I guide you to explore identity, relationships, and community pressures to build confidence, self-acceptance, and authentic connection in a safe, supportive space.
What may be causing you to feel the way you do
- Some struggles have roots in your childhood , shaping how you relate.
- Trauma from past or present life events may still be influencing your emotions and behaviours.
- Questions around identity, culture, or belonging may affect how you see yourself and how you cope with change.
- Emotional or social patterns may be repeated unconsciously.
- Life transitions, loss, or stress may be amplifying old patterns or feelings.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
