About me
As a counsellor working within a private practice, I offer therapy in both English and Turkish. I trained as a humanistic integrative counsellor at CPPD Counselling School, and I also hold an MSc in Clinical Psychology. As a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I strictly adhere to their established ethical code.
Having a background in mental health charities and community mental health environments, I've had the wonderful opportunity to connect with individuals from various walks of life. Before becoming a counsellor, I worked with vulnerable families and children within the community.
I help individuals facing a wide range of emotional challenges, from dealing with trauma, anxiety, and depression, to navigating relationship and attachment issues, coping with work-related stress, managing anger, and adjusting to life's transitions. My particular interest lies in addressing the psychological challenges linked to immigration and the complexities of maintaining an immigrant identity.
What I provide is a therapeutic environment where you have the time and space to process any issues you're facing, with support and without fear of judgment. I offer a safe and trustworthy space where you can freely explore and understand your past and present experiences and relationship patterns to gain valuable insight. My goal is to foster an empathetic and accepting relationship, allowing you to openly express your thoughts and feelings. As an integrative counsellor, I specialise in various counselling approaches and tailor them to your unique needs, story, and the depth of our work together.
Please feel free to book a 20-minutes complimentary Zoom or phone consultation with me. It's a chance for us to chat without any pressure, where we can explore how we might work together and you can ask any questions you have.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
