About me
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile and find out more about my experience as a therapist and how I practice.
If you, or someone you care about are struggling, and certain aspects of life are feeling overwhelming, reaching out for help is such an important first step. Many of us are affected by mental health issues at some point in life, through our own experiences, or somebody close to us. I am dedicated in helping you to better understand these difficulties and to provide you with the tools you need to achieve emotional wellbeing.
I am an experienced HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and have worked in a variety of NHS and private psychological services for over ten years with adults, young people, and families with a range of psychological difficulties including anxiety disorders, depression, low self-esteem and self-confidence, emotional regulation difficulties, stress, relationship difficulties and trauma.
I offer confidential, person centred therapy in a nurturing and compassionate way and draw on years of training and experience to offer evidence based therapy. I am trained in a number of evidenced based therapy modalities these include, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and EMDR.
If you would like to work with me, or find out more information, please get in touch to arrange a free telephone conversation or book an appointment.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
