Emily Burton - MBACP, PG Dip, BA Hons
I’m Emily, and I offer private one-to-one psychotherapy and counselling in Central London and in South London. I also work via Skype and over the phone.
Counselling and psychotherapy can be helpful whether you’re struggling with something specific, or just feeling generally low, overwhelmed or stuck. It offers you a place to slow down, reflect and explore new perspectives and possibilities. Perhaps you want things to be different in some way, or feel that some focused time to explore and better understand your thoughts and feelings might be helpful.
Alongside my therapy practice I have over ten years corporate experience and am particularly interested in supporting you to manage feelings of stress and anxiety in the workplace, or feeling overwhelmed by the demands of balancing work with life and personal relationships.
Lastly, I’m interested in whether your thoughts and feelings are manifesting in the body i.e. through headaches, back pain, insomnia or muscle tension etc. So depending on whether you feel this is relevant, I may bring this into our discussion.
