About me

Hello, my name is Dwayne. Are you requiring support with any of the following: anger management, bereavement, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationships, panic attacks, stress, faith and spirituality? If your answer is "YES", I can help you to explore these difficult thoughts and feelings, and help you move from a place of confusion and feeling lost to a place of clarity and understanding. I can help you make sense of  traumatic past experiences and help you to understand its impact on your present . It will be like putting together a jigsaw from all the jumbled up pieces.

I will help you identify what triggers your anger.  I will provide you with strategies/techniques and the 7 steps to anger management. I will help you identify unhelping thoughts that may be causing anxiety, low mood, depression and low self-esteem. I can help you with grief/bereavement-perhaps saying the things you did not get the chance to say.

If any of the above resonate with you; please feel free to contact me via email or telephone for an introductory conversation. It may be that you feel as if no one understands and you just want your voice to be heard. It is my aim to provide you with a non-judgemental confidential space to allow you to be free and not having to hold back anything.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
