About me

Are you an adult seeking an assessment and diagnosis for ADHD?

As a specialist psychologist providing ADHD assessments for adults, my mission is to empower individuals with ADHD to unleash their full potential. I offer private ADHD assessments accessible from anywhere in the United Kingdom. As a qualified counselling psychologist with specialized neuropsychological training, I focus on accurate and comprehensive assessments for adults facing ADHD symptoms, holding qualifications recognized by the British Psychological Society and HCPC.

The Assessment Process

This involves thoroughly evaluating symptoms, exploring medical and family history, and a range of psychological and cognitive tests. The steps include:

Step 1: Pre-Assessment Information Gathering

  • You will be asked to gather some information and fill in a questionnaire
  • I will then review this information before the assessment

Step 2: Comprehensive Assessment

  • Semi-structured interview lasting approx 90 - 120 minutes
  • Complete rating scales to measure symptoms and cognitive functioning.

Step 3: Diagnosis, Report & Treatment

  • Receive a clinical diagnosis of ADHD/ADD (if present)
  • Be provided a clinical report outlining the findings of the assessment
  • Receive recommendations for possible treatment options
  • Referral to a Psychiatrist/healthcare professionals for ADHD Medication

Training, qualifications & experience

Over the past 5 years, I have worked as a psychologist for the NHS, the University of Edinburgh, and in private practice. This diverse experience allows me to adapt therapeutic approaches to individual needs, ensuring optimal outcomes for my clients.

Through specialist and professional training, I bring a wealth of clinical expertise to the assessment, evaluation, and diagnosis of ADHD. I understand the intricacies that come with this condition.
