About me
Therapy doesn't have to be at a crisis point. (Although it can help there too). It can be for self-improvement, mental maintenance, and a space to make positive changes.
Think of therapy as a tool. Supporting you to maintain good mental health, find balance, build healthy relationships, and thrive in life to reach your potential.
-----
I provide a welcoming, safe and confidential space to explore all that you wish to bring.
Initially, we'll start to unpack what has brought you to therapy, what you wish to be different and understand what barriers are in the way.
Together we'll work on making changes to overcome these barriers.
Finding a life that feels more connected, authentic and balanced.
It’s important you have a space to speak openly and honestly about what is troubling you.
Whilst having a compassionate and trained professional to support you in finding a way forward.
Therapy involves:
- Learning to manage anxiety.
- Healing inner conflicts and tension.
- Providing tools to build self-esteem.
- Processing past experiences & trauma.
- Improving the relationship with yourself.
- Building healthy relationships with others.
- Support with negative thinking & patterns.
- Discovering how to set boundaries.
- Increasing self-awareness.
>Finding ways to make positive changes<
Why I do what I do:
I believe in creating a space for people to feel truly heard, listened to, and accepted for who they are.
It's important we build trust and work at a comfortable pace.
Whilst I also provide a sense of challenge, aiming you toward personal growth.
I see it as a great privilege to walk alongside you:
- Supporting you in building healthy relationships.
- Providing insight that is helpful and hopeful.
- Guiding you to rediscover a sense of balance.
- Providing practical tools to help you cope.
- Helping you to achieve your own personal goals in life.
- Finding ways to improve self-esteem and confidence.
I hold hope that positive change is possible. Whilst remaining active, engaged and creative in helping you where you feel stuck.
Taking the first step:
I fully understand and respect the decision to enter therapy can be a challenging one.
It often feels like embarking on a journey into the unknown.
I do however wish to say, that I embrace the opportunity to walk alongside you.
Starting the process:
07405221011 -contact to arrange a Free 30-minute Introductory Call.
Or feel free to send an email enquiry. I will respond to arrange.
Introductory Calls:
Intro calls are free of charge , 30-minutes long, and informal.
We can have a friendly discussion about what brings you here and how I can help.
Whilst also providing an opportunity to see if it feels like the right fit before deciding next steps.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
As an Integrative Counsellor I have trained in the four following forms of therapy:
- CBT
- Person-Centred
- Gestalt
- Psychodynamic
This allows me to adapt the therapy in a way that is most suitable for you.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can be useful for shorter term work, especially in understanding the connection between negative thoughts, feelings and actions.
Person-centred work and Gestalt are more suitable for longer-term work where we can understand how you are in relationships with others as well as the relationship you have with yourself. These can be useful to navigate life's challenges you may be facing currently and need support with.
Psychodynamic work involves understanding how our past can influence who we are in the present.
Combining these allows me to work in a way that is suitable for many difficult life experiences as they arise. Whilst providing you the support you need at that point in your life.
----------
I understand the courage it takes to ask for help and the difficulty you must be in right now.
I want you to know that you are not alone. I'm here to support you on this part of your journey.
When you feel ready to reach out, I'm here.
