About me
I provide therapy online and in person.
It can take trust and bravery to find the right therapeutic support and to take that first step. Wherever you are on your journey, and as a registered psychologist and therapist, I am here to support with compassion and understanding while supporting healing, self-awareness and personal growth in a safe and supportive therapeutic space.
I have worked for many years as a Psychologist and therapist supporting adults, children, young people and families. I am a registered and chartered counselling psychologist and support a wide range of issues and difficulties. I integrate therapeutic approaches while working with each client and discussing what therapeutic approach would best support each individual. This includes integrative psychological therapy, psychotherapy, family therapy, EMDR, DBT, CBT, SFBT, psychodynamic and humanistic therapy, group therapy, and art therapeutic approaches.
I have led four services (inpatient, outpatient, and community), including a shared hospital lead role. I have hospice experience, and have worked in the NHS, private healthcare, charities, and independently, and as a university lecturer over 26 years. I am an author with professional publications and have lectured, authored, and co-authored psychology and therapy courses at three universities, both under graduate and post graduate.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
