About me

Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself?

If you find yourself repeating unhelpful patterns, feeling like you’re on joyless autopilot, or struggling to feel authentic in your work and relationships, you’re not alone. Many of my clients are high-performing professionals, creatives and parents who feel emotionally stretched, burnt out, or uncertain about how to make meaningful change.

As a Gestalt therapist, I work with you to explore how you show up in the world and in relationships and why certain patterns keep repeating. We look at the deeper roots of your struggles—not just the symptoms—so you can understand yourself more fully and create new, more helpful ways of living.

I specialise in helping clients with:

Feeling overwhelmed or emotionally stuck or grieving a loss
Burnout, stress and anxiety
Finding authenticity and confidence in work and relationships
Managing the emotional impact of neurodiversity

My approach is warm, mind and body aware, collaborative, and supported by 15 years of mental health experience, specialist training and ongoing clinical supervision. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you reconnect with yourself and create a life that feels more aligned with who you are.

If this resonates, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s start with a free 15-minute call to explore how we can work together.

A client experience

" When I initially started therapy I felt quite overwhelmed by my life and confused about my relationship. The kindness and support I experienced from Clair as we got to the crux of things, really helped me through a difficult time. As we continued I felt my capacity to cope significantly improved and I started to feel calmer and more hopeful"

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
