About me
My passion is supporting children (11+), teenagers, adults, couples and families around a variety of life's challenges. I have a strong personal and professional interest in neurodivergence, social anxiety and relational challenges. I work both face to face in Exmouth and online.
My work with children and young people has enabled them to navigate the changes and complexities of the adolescent years focusing on neurodivergence, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, bullying, anxiety, low self-esteem, friendship group challenges, bereavement and changing family dynamics.
My adult counselling work has focused on neurodivergence, difficult childhood experiences and how these play out in current relationships, as well as bereavement, anger, anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation.
My couples work supports clients to communicate their needs in the relationship, working with affairs, conflict, communication and difference and sex.
My families work looks at relational dynamics, neurodivergence, adverse childhood experiences and seeks to promote healthy communication and enhance bonds.
My aim is to support my clients to raise awareness, develop choices and promote change in their lives. I work through a flexible integrative approach to meet the needs and learning styles of my clients. Choosing the right counsellor is important, so I offer a free 30 minute consultation over the phone to ensure I am the best professional to work with you. If we decide that your needs are out of my professional scope, I will advise you on how to find the right therapist for you.
